We got the idea for A.M.B.O. (Arrest My Body Odor) when I was in middle school. We were learning about personal hygiene and playing a lot of sports. I am sure you all know what a school locker room smells like, right?

I looked for deodorants and quickly realized that no products were designed for teens and young adults. Most products , are full of chemicals and antiperspirants! They fall into 2 categories, ones that 'cover up' odors with scents and fragrances containing parabens! Or prevent you from sweating by clogging up your pores and shutting down the sweat glands, (Aluminum, Baking Soda, Waxes)

My research showed that sweating is good and necessary for your body to regulate temperature.  The root cause of the odors is actually, the microflora (bacteria and fungi) that are always present on the skin. We focused on this!

Armed with this, my brother and I researched natural ingredients that were beneficial for the skin, addressed the root cause, and also smelled nice. After 4 years of trials and testing, we found the right balance with botanicals, essential oils, and skin-nourishing ingredients that could be blended to provide odor control and also keep skin moisturized, clean, and fresh. The final touch was leveraging scientific experts and formulation scientists to thoroughly test and scale up our formula to GMP standards. Our ingredients work with your skin not against it.

We quickly realized that our product had the potential to make a real difference in the lives of others and decided to pursue further development. We identified a manufacturing partner with an FDA-certified GMP facility to source and manufacture our products. All our products are formulated with scientific experts and formulation scientists, and proudly Made in USA.

Our path forward

Once we learned about the Skin Microbiome and the role it plays on skin issues, We expanded to A.M.B.O Hair and A.M.B.O Face with clean-label products designed to bring skin and hair back to its natural glory. We are committed to providing our customers with products that are free from toxic chemicals, effective and beneficial for their overall health and well-being.

We continue to work on expanding our product line to include a variety of scents and formulations to cater to different preferences and skin types. We are also exploring ways to partner with local businesses and organizations to make A.M.B.O more accessible to the community.

We have big plans for our brand, and we are excited to see how we can continue to innovate and provide our customers with high-quality, natural and affordable skincare products.
